The Board of Directors is elected at-large to four year terms by the voters within the District. Board Meetings are held the first and third Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m.  at the District Office, 101 Lucas Valley Road, Suite 300 in San Rafael. All board meetings are open to the public, and we encourage attendance and participation by our citizens. • Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District is a special district, authorized by the Sanitary District Act of 1923, California Health and Safety Code Sections 6400-6941.9
• The District is an independent public agency, governed by a five-person Board of Directors who are elected “at large” from the District’s electorate and serve a four year term.  The individual Board members  represent the District on other boards, committees and associations.  For further information on elections, please visit the Marin County Election Department.
