May 01, 2019: Construction Update – May 1, 2019

Starting in mid-May, there will be a significant increase in construction activity on Las Gallinas Valley Sanitary District property, as part of its three-year, $62 million Secondary Treatment Plant Upgrade and Recycled Water Expansion Project. This work will impact parking, traffic, and pedestrian use.

When you come to the District office or visit the reclamation ponds, PLEASE USE EXTRA CAUTION!

  • Watch for equipment, trucks, and work crews
  • Be aware of lane changes and temporary closures of the roadway
  • Observe all safety signage and follow directions from construction flaggers and workers

Thank you!
