Habitat Restoration and Pollution Prevention Day: (Grade 1) -Full day field trip at LGVSD rebuilding and preserving a monarch butterfly habitat and learning about pollution in our waterways. Wetlands Day: (Grade 3) -Full day fieldtrip at LGVSD covering habitats, wildlife and wastewater issues. Water and California Resources Day: (Grade 4) -Full day fieldtrip at LGVSD covering environmental reclaimed water issues, habitat gardens and hands-on field work. In-Class Presentations: (Grade 3-5) -Site visit to classroom covering stormwater and wastewater issues. Tours: (Any grade level) -A walking tour of treatment facility and habitat gardens. School bus subsidizing may be available. Live Education/Entertainment: -LGVSD, in collaboration with other non-profit agencies, offers educational entertainment shows free of charge.
