Recycling Fluorescents
Fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent light bulbs contain small amounts of mercury vapor. When dumped in the trash, they can release mercury, leading to air and water pollution. Drop off your old unbroken fluorescent tubes and CFLs at our treatment plant or at the Marin Sanitary Hazardous Waste drop-off location.
